About the Role
Based in Milton Keynes and working as a key member of the Production Team, the Quality Control Analyst will play a crucial role in ensuring that products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and titration techniques, along with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
* Conduct QC analysis of in-process and finished product samples in line with specifications/methods
* Manage daily operations of the QC laboratory instrumentation required for testing
* Maintain high standards of housekeeping in the department
* Calibrate and maintain instruments
* Prepare lab reagents and standards following quality procedures
* Train operators on analytical methods and record appropriately
* Maintain and file all records, procedures, and work instructions
* Investigate non-conforming products and customer complaints related to quality
Candidate Requirements
MUST HAVE
* Degree in Chemistry or a related field
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Hands-on experience with HPLC operations
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
DESIRABLE
* Knowledge of Quality Management standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 12776, and BRC
* Experience in the chemical or chemical distribution industry
* Experience in a Food/Cosmetic FMC environment
* Experience conducting internal audits
