The below job description will outline this position of: Warehouse Operative
Typically, this person will support all aspects of warehouse operations including stock control, goods receiving, order picking, packing and dispatch activities, whilst ensuring accuracy, efficiency and compliance with company procedures.

Duties and responsibilities of the Warehouse Operative: Manage and monitor warehouse management systems within assigned areas
Carry out production order picking, issuing and receiving across departments
Pick, pack and dispatch sales orders ensuring customer paperwork and labels are accurate
Receive and inspect goods against purchase orders, ensuring correct labelling and stock control
Transfer stock to suitable warehouse locations and assist with stocktaking activities
Issue consumables and PPE to workshop personnel
Maintain a clean and organised goods inspection and warehouse area
Operate forklifts and support general warehouse duties as required
Work collaboratively with colleagues and assist in mentoring and knowledge sharing
Follow all company Health & Safety, Quality, Security and GDPR procedures
Qualifications and requirements for the Warehouse Operative: Previous warehouse experience
Good literacy and numeracy skills
Counterbalance Forklift Licence
Experience using computer systems and warehouse management systems
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively under pressure and use initiative
Strong team-working skills with a proactive attitude
NVQ Level 2 in Warehousing and Stock Control desirable
Flexi Forklift Licence desirable
