Job Description
In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the seamless operation of workplace services and back-office functions, contributing to a positive and efficient experience for employees and visitors alike.
You will deliver a high-quality workplace facilities management service across the client’s UK offices, offering both customer service excellence and technical support.
Working collaboratively with multiple teams, you will uphold the standards and values of both ISS and the client, ensuring compliance with facilities management processes and consistent, reliable service across all sites.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support the Senior Workplace Facilities Manager with administrative and operational tasks
2. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with workplace policies and standards
3. Coordinate cleaning, catering, and maintenance services for smooth day-to-day operations
4. Monitor workplace systems, analyse metrics, and assist with reporting and budgeting
5. Act as main contact for staff and contractor queries, liaising with suppliers as needed
6. Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance, including supporting ESG initiatives
7. Assist in implementing workplace technologies and process improvements, including staff communication and training
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
8. Experience in a similar workplace or facilities support role is preferred
9. Strong customer service skills and a professional, proactive attitude
10. Confident communicator across all levels of management and staff
11. Experience coordinating contractors or service providers is beneficial
12. Organised and detail-focused with good time management
13. Able to work independently and adapt to changing priorities
14. No formal qualifications required; practical experience is key
