Role description
Ardagh Glass Doncaster are looking to recruit and appoint a person into the position of Team Leader working on shifts to support the Added Value Manager in the printing department.
This role has the opportunity for leadership development, including internal training and externally accredited programmes to support your performance and career progression.
Responsibilities:

Responsible for the day to day activities and quality overview in the department
:
Support the shift team leader in monitoring the performance via internal systems reacting to any changes to avoid quality or efficiency problems
:
Assist in the development of departmental procedures, training material and maintenance strategy
:
Proactively monitor systems to maximise rework opportunities and gain feedback on defects
:
Monitor production losses and analyse reports to see where losses could be improved
:
Be knowledgeable in all aspects of the department and look at ways to improve packing performances

Ability to be proactive and make quick decisions

Experience in managing teams / projects as well as coaching and mentoring skills

Observational skills and attention to detail

Demonstrates management of people including resolving conflict

Good understanding of inspection equipment capabilities, quality inspection, packaging and customer requirements.

Normal shift pattern is determined by the 5:crew shift rota, however, typically consists of a two 12:hour day shifts followed by two 12:hour night shifts and then a six:day rest period, 21 holiday days when working the 5 crew 12:hour shift rota. Holidays are built into the crew rota
