Mechanical Project Manager Full Time/Permanent Chichester £75,000 DOE A long-established MEP contractor with over 45 years of experience delivering full mechanical and electrical services across sectors such as industrial, logistics, food, pharma, data centres, healthcare, residential, commercial, and energy, is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager due to continued growth. Role Overview: Reporting to the Project/Contracts Manager, the role involves close coordination with suppliers, site teams, subcontractors, and health and safety personnel to deliver mechanical building services on-site. Key Responsibilities: Oversee installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical systems Ensure all permits and compliance documentation (RAMS, PPE, etc.) are in place Conduct inspections, resolve issues, and liaise with contractors and client teams Manage site logistics, plant hire, labour, and subcontractors Handle procurement of materials and maintain documentation systems Monitor project schedules, quality standards, and communicate changes to project team Produce regular progress and quality reports Requirements: Qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Previous experience in a similar supervisory or project management role Proven track record on large-scale mechanical projects Strong team leadership, organisational, and communication skills Proficient with relevant IT systems Flexibility to travel if required
