Health & Safety Officer (Part-Time) – Exciting Opportunity in a Growing Business
Castle Manufacturing is delighted to be recruiting for a Health & Safety Officer. This is a permanent role based on site near Howden.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide expert advice and guidance to senior leaders and line managers on Health & Safety policies, safe operating procedures, and risk assessments.
* Support HR and Technical teams in preparation for external audits and compliance requirements.
* Develop, implement, and maintain workplace health and safety plans in line with legal guidelines.
* Prepare and enforce policies to establish and sustain a strong safety culture.
* Conduct regular inspections of practices, facilities, equipment, and operations to ensure compliance.
* Manage statutory safety inspections
* Investigate accidents and incidents, identifying root causes and preventative actions.
Candidate Requirements
* NEBOSH General Certificate.
* Membership of IOSH.
* Extensive and up to date knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.
* Previous experience in health and safety management
