Mobile Service Engineer – Rotary & Mechanical Equipment
Location: Chesterfield / Nationwide Travel
Salary: £35,000 – £37,000 + Overtime
A well-established Chesterfield-based organisation is looking to expand its team of Mobile Service Engineers. This is a varied, hands-on role involving regular travel across the UK and working with rotary and mechanical equipment.

The Role
As a Mobile Service Engineer, you will:
Service, maintain, and repair rotary and mechanical machinery at customer sites
Travel nationwide, with occasional periods working away from home
Diagnose faults and carry out mechanical repairs efficiently
Work to high safety, quality, and performance standards
Represent the company professionally on client sites
What We’re Looking For
Experience or working knowledge of mechanical machinery (rotary equipment experience highly desirable)
Background in engineering, maintenance, or machine handling
Full UK driving licence
Flexibility to work away from home for extended periods
Willingness to work weekends, bank holidays, and nights when required
Reliable, committed team player with a positive attitude
Functional literacy skills for reports and documentation
