Sales Manager
What’s the Role?
We are looking for a Sales Manager to join Waylands to lead our sales team at our Kia dealership in Bicester. This role will see you use your sales management experience to lead the team in providing a high‑quality service for our customers. Reporting to the General Manager, this role offers the chance to join a leading automotive retail group with an excellent reputation.
What does a typical day involve?
* Managing the team of Sales Executives and the Transaction Manager.
* Leading and motivating the team to meet sales targets on new and used vehicles and finance and insurance products.
* Liaising with customers, both face‑to‑face and by phone/email.
* Working to market vehicles and services on offer in the dealership and online, liaising with the marketing and digital sales teams to ensure this is accurate and seamless.
* Ensuring customer satisfaction index scores are consistently high.
* Handling any customer complaints in an efficient and effective way.
* Maintaining and tracking KPI’s.
* Ensuring all sales completed are FCA compliant in conjunction with the Transaction Manager.
* Second‑facing when required to close deal.
* Underwriting part exchanges.
* Ensuring stock is prepared to company standards.
* Ensuring showroom and forecourt presentation is always to a high standard.

* Excellent, clear communication with line managers, colleagues and customers.
* Excellent product knowledge.
