About the Role
Are you ready to take ownership of engineering projects that shape the future of a major industrial site? We’re seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to lead and support a range of capital and revenue projects, driving innovation, compliance, and long-term operational excellence. You’ll be responsible for the full project lifecycle — from feasibility and design through to commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver engineering projects aligned with site strategy.
* Lead safety studies including risk assessments, HAZOP, and FMEA.
* Ensure compliance with ISO/IEC, EN, and BS standards.
* Support change management and documentation processes.
* Collaborate across departments to identify and deliver continuous improvements.
Requirements
* HNC/HND with 7+ years’ experience or a degree in Mechanical Engineering with 3+ years in an industrial setting.
* Strong CAD skills (2D/3D modelling).
* Analytical mindset with strong computing and statistical skills.
* Excellent communication and report writing abilities.
* Knowledge of CDM regulations and project management methodologies.
