Legal Counsel – Global Engineering & IT Consultancy
Location: London | Hybrid (2 days WFH) |+ Benefits
Salary: £60,000 to £80,000 per annum
A leading international engineering and technology consultancy, operating across more than numerous countries, is looking for a
Junior Legal Counsel
to join its UK legal team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified solicitor (NQ) or someone with up to 1 year PQE who is eager to step into their first in-house role within a fast-moving, global business.
The role
* Review, negotiate, and advise on a wide range of
commercial contracts
including IT, engineering, and consultancy services agreements
* Support business managers during contract negotiations with private and public sector clients (including government framework agreements)
* Advise on supplier agreements and other operational contracts
* Assist with compliance matters including IR35, AWR, and governance processes
* Contribute to developing contract templates, processes, and training to improve efficiency across the UK business
What we're looking for
* A recently qualified solicitor (or about to qualify), or someone with up to 3 year PQE
* Training seat or early career experience in
commercial contracts
(private practice or in-house)
* Enthusiastic about gaining exposure to a broad variety of sectors and clients
* Strong communication skills with confidence to engage with business stakeholders
* Proactive, solutions-focused approach with willingness to learn public sector contracting processes
