Kent Training is a leading vocational training provider based in Sandwich, Kent. We deliver high-quality DVSA Driver training courses as well as ITSSAR-accredited training courses and are expanding into new specialist training areas.
To support this growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Manager to oversee our training centre and drive the development of new training programmes.
About the Role
As Operations Manager, you will:
* Oversee all ITSSAR training operations at our Sandwich centre.
* Lead the development, launch, and delivery of our NRSWA Street Works courses, planned to begin in January 2026.
* Manage compliance, course scheduling, and quality standards across all training activities.
* Work closely with our CABWI approval for NRSWA to ensure smooth rollout of street works programmes.
* Support the expansion of our training portfolio by contributing to the launch of NPORS-accredited courses as we move towards becoming an NPORS Approved Training Centre.
* Manage and mentor training staff / instructors, ensuring a high standard of delivery across all programmes.
* Play a key role in developing Kent Training's reputation as a trusted provider of vocational training across the South East.
What We're Looking For
* Approved NRSWA Street Works Instructor/Assessor (essential).
* NPORS Instructor qualification (highly desirable).
* Strong background in vocational training delivery, ideally with ITSSAR and/or NPORS experience.
* Proven management or leadership experience in a training environment.
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to compliance and quality assurance.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work with clients, accrediting bodies, and internal teams.
