Compliance Manager Temporary, Full Time £600 per day (umbrella), Inside IR35 Location: Essex A local authority is seeking to appoint an experienced Compliance Manager on a 6‑month temporary contract. This role requires office presence 2-3 days per week. Main Purpose of the Role Lead the operational delivery of a high‑performing asset compliance and health & safety service across housing and corporate property portfolios, ensuring all statutory, regulatory and best‑practice standards are met. Oversee the delivery of mechanical and electrical services, including planned and reactive works. Manage a specialist team delivering heating, electrical, fire, asbestos, lifts, CDM and water hygiene compliance. Act as the organisation's technical subject matter expert for compliance, health & safety, mechanical and electrical engineering. Support senior leadership in strategy development and operational implementation. Ensure contracts are procured, mobilised and delivered in accordance with contractual and legislative requirements.
