Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool practitioner to join our nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a safe, engaging, and stimulating learning atmosphere that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of preschool-aged children.
Duties
* Manage classroom activities to ensure a positive and inclusive environment.
* Guide children through daily routines, encouraging their independence and social skills.
* Communicate effectively with parents and managers regarding children's progress and any concerns.
* Observe and assess children's development, to meet individual needs.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised classroom space.
* Collaborate with colleagues and work well in a team.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
Experience
* NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent.
* A background in working with young children is advisable.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* Previous experience in childcare or related fields will be considered an asset.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.25 per hour
Expected hours: 7 – 20 per week
