* Location: Mersey Ports, Liverpool, L21
* Rate: £12.21 per hour (PAYE Direct)
* Overtime: Available after 26 weeks
Role Overview - Port Operative Liverpool
As a Port Operative, your day-to-day responsibilities may include:
* Loading and unloading cargo safely and efficiently
* Operating plant machinery (if tickets held)
* Working as part of a team to support port and dockside operations
* Following strict health and safety procedures on site
This position is ideal for those with experience in dock work, cargo handling, stevedoring, or port operations who are seeking ongoing employment.
Requirements for Port Operative Role
* Previous experience working on ports/dockyards - essential
* Plant tickets - desirable, but not essential
* Strong awareness of health & safety regulations
