You will be a vital contributor in our busy Trust and the clinical lead Respiratory Nurse within the TB service, both in the clinics and inpatient setting.
You Will:
Take professional responsibility for the provision of a comprehensive clinical pharmacy service to the TB/Respiratory Specialty area and associated clinical areas and wards to meet their goals.
To lead by example in Pharmacy specialisms of Respiratory/TB clinical practice and ensure a consistently high quality Clinical Pharmacy service is delivered in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
Main Duties:
* Provide a highly specialist clinic-based extensive clinical pharmacy service to include regular reviews of drug prescriptions for Respiratory/TB patients across the Trust.
* Actively participate in outpatient clinics for Respiratory/TB patients in the Trust.
* Develop and implement TB policies for the Trust in conjunction with Consultant Microbiologists, Chief Pharmacist and Public Health Consultants.
* Ensure communication with pharmacy stores staff to provide seamless medication supply for patients undergoing treatment who need a specialist input, in conjunction with the consultant microbiologist, consultants in Respiratory Medicine and other specialist staff.

Person Specification
Essential:
* Degree or Masters level in Pharmacy
* Registered Pharmacist (GPhC)
* Postgraduate qualification relevant to hospital pharmacy practice
* Significant experience in specialty pharmacy practice
* Experience in delivering clinical education and training
* Experience of leading change management processes
* Computer literate - Microsoft Office & pharmacy applications
* Knowledge of clinical audit / Drug Use Review projects
* Up to date evidence of work towards the pillars and domains of HEE or RPS advanced practice
Desirable:
* Leadership / Management qualification relevant to the NHS or equivalent management qualification or experience
* Registered Pharmacy non-medical prescriber
* Credentialed for RPS Core Advanced Pharmacist Curriculum
* Experience in research, work published or presented to conference
