Block Manager – Harlow – £35k Harlow Block Management up to £35k One Property Recruitment is seeking a confident and proactive Block Manager to join our client’s small but growing property management team based in Harlow. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to take ownership of their own dedicated portfolio within a close-knit and collaborative environment. The team is small, comprising just six professionals, offering the chance to make a real impact and gain broad exposure to all aspects of block and property management. This is a fully office-based, permanent role with genuine opportunities for professional development and progression within the business. Salary Up to £35,000 per annum (depending on experience and qualifications) Main Duties Manage a dedicated portfolio of residential (and some commercial) properties, taking full ownership of day-to-day operations Oversee maintenance requests, planned works, and statutory compliance, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently Conduct regular site inspections to monitor health, safety, and property standards Act as the main point of contact for leaseholders, tenants, contractors, and key stakeholders Prepare budgets, service charge accounts, and financial reports Organise and attend residents’ meetings and AGMs, including minute taking and action follow-ups Support and liaise with junior team members where required to ensure high service standards Maintain accurate and up-to-date property management records About You Previous experience in block management or residential property management Good working knowledge of residential leasehold legislation and statutory compliance Confident managing your own portfolio in a small team environment Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills Proactive, professional, and able to work independently Full UK driving licence is desirable What They Offer Salary up to £35,000 per annum Hybrid set up Responsibility for your own portfolio 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays Pension scheme Supportive, friendly, and collaborative working environment Opportunity for career progression within a growing business.
