We are looking for an experienced Transport administrator for a permanent position within a factory environment for a growing organisation in based in Birmingham. The role is to be a key role within the transport department organising and coordinating the drivers primarily.
Daily Responsibilities
Organising day to day transport for customer deliveries and building strong relationships with couriers.
You will also be required to answer telephone calls, which will include customer enquiries, to progress customer orders, arrange transport requests and to increase customer satisfaction.
Purchase Order Processing.
Management of transport daily, weekly and monthly
Updating all information onto the system
Call handling.
KPI presenting and monitoring.
Assisting with any customer service, H&S and sales administration.

Experience in scheduling and management of drivers
Customer Service and Transport Administration
Comfortable in communicating with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
Proven ability to work in a fast paced environment
Keen to learn
Ability to work towards KPI's and targets
Competent in relevant IT packages especially Excel
Ability to learn internal systems
Problem analysis and problem solving
Attention to detail and accuracy
Driving Licence The Role
Salary £24,000 - £27,000
Monday to Friday 8 - 5 (Paid break 10.00 - 10.30) & (Lunch 13.00 - 14.00)
