Class 2 Driver
Burton-on-Trent
Full-time position with the potential to become permanent.
£14.50 or £16.25 per hour.
Our client based in Burton requires a Class 2 (Cat C) driver to join the team on a temp-to-perm contract .
You will be responsible for the timely delivery and offloading of goods to their retail stores around the country, driving a Class 2 Rigid vehicle. This role is Mon-Fri with 1 overnight stay every fortnight.
Start times vary between 02:00 and 06:00 in the morning.
Duties
Delivering a variety of retail products to different locations across the UK.
Completing 5 to 7 deliveries per shift, depending on the daily schedule.
Ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while maintaining excellent customer service.
Handballing cages off the trailer using the tail lift.
Pay
£16.25ph (PAYE Advanced Inclusive of holidays)
£14.50ph (PAYE Accrued Accrued holiday)
Requirements
HGV Class 2 (C) licence with a minimum of 1 years experience
Valid CPC card and Digital Tacho card
Able to physically fit as handballing of cages will be required
