Integra Talent are partnering with a growing accountancy firm based in Oldham to recruit a talented and driven Semi Senior Accountant.
This role offers the opportunity to play a key role in preparing accounts, ensuring financial compliance, and offering practical advisory support to a variety of clients across different sectors. You’ll be responsible for managing your own workload, working closely with senior team members, and providing high-quality accounting services.
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000
Key Responsibilities of the Semi Senior Accountant role are:
* Prepare year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
* Management accounts and VAT returns.
* Ensure accurate records and timely submissions to HMRC and Companies House.
* Liaise directly with clients to gather information and resolve queries.
* Support with bookkeeping tasks and software integration.
* Audit preparation and tax compliance where required.
* Collaborate with colleagues on process improvements and best practices.
Required Skills & Experience:
* Previous experience working within an accountancy practice is essential.
* Confident communicator, capable of building trusted relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
* Proven end to end accounts preparation experience.
* Comfortable working with accountancy software, tax platforms, and Microsoft Office tools.
* Highly organised and ability to work in a fast paced environment.
* Detail-focused with a commitment to delivering quality work.
