Job Summary
As Front Desk Manager, you will be responsible for the daily operation of the Front Desk and the leadership of the Front Office team. You’ll work hands-on with associates to ensure smooth guest arrivals and departures, delivering consistently high service standards while maximising guest satisfaction, team engagement, and departmental financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver outstanding guest service and resolve complaints professionally and effectively
2. Maximise room revenue through upselling and strategic initiatives
3. Ensure full compliance with Marriott brand standards and audit requirements
4. Lead, coach, and develop the Front Office team through regular reviews and training
5. Oversee daily Front Desk operations, including rotas, reporting, and guest facility bookings
6. Promote safety, compliance, and strong cross-department communication
7. Use hotel systems (Opera, GXP, MARSHA) to monitor performance and guest satisfaction
Qualifications & Skills
8. Diploma or equivalent qualification
9. Minimum 3 years’ experience in a hotel Front Office leadership role
10. Strong working knowledge of Marriott systems
11. Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills
12. Highly organised, proactive, and professional
