SIG Plc. is a leading supplier of specialist building materials to trade customers across Europe as a specialist distributor of insulation and interiors products and merchant of roofing and exterior products.
We are currently looking to recruit an Internal Sales Executive/Administrator who will work with the Branch Management to achieve the Branch and Regional Sales strategy and targets and to attain monthly and annual sales targets for the branch. You will look to identify opportunities and maintain customer relationships to maximise sales potential, champion business objectives and ensure strong focus on margin, volume and profit.
What does the role involve?
As an Internal Sales Executive/Administrator you will develop new accounts and ensure they continue to grow profitably, prepare sales quotations, and accurately take and input orders onto the system. You will also engage with customers face to face and over the phone, make proactive sales telephone calls to lapsed accounts and potential new customers and regularly engaging with external sales and credit control teams.
The successful candidate will be:
Previous internal sales experience
Sales experience in a construction related distribution (preferable) and competitor knowledge (preferable)
Good level of numeracy and IT skills
Excellent attention to detail
Strong Communication Skills
Ability to build & maintain key relationships with customers & suppliers
