An opportunity has arisen for a CNC Miller to join a well-known manufacturer of high-end products on a permanent basis. Along with a salary of up to £34,476 per annum, you will receive 30 days holiday including stats, early finish 12pm on Fridays, free onsite parking and ongoing training and development.
The company is a well-established manufacturer in the Halifax area and is looking for an experienced CNC Miller to join them due to continued growth.
The CNC Miller will be responsible for:
* Setting and operating a number of multi-axis machining centres
* Programming from scratch and editing (Siemens and Haas controls)
* Working directly from engineering drawings
* Advising on possible means of process improvement within the machine shop and other areas of the company
The CNC Miller will have:
* IDEAL NOT ESSENTIAL: Formal qualifications within a relevant discipline, Mechanical Engineering/Machining (Apprenticeship, NVQ, BTEC, City & Guilds Level 3 etc.)
* Worked as a CNC Miller, Machinist Engineer, or Technician previously within a precision engineering or machine shop environment
* The ability to independently program using ISO or conversational controls
What is offered to the CNC Miller:
* Salary £34,476 per annum
* 7.30am-4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 12.30pm finish Friday
* Overtime available at time and a half
* 30 days holiday including bank holidays
