A new and exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Engineering Development team on a permanent basis in the role of Project Engineer. This role will be reporting to one of Engineering Project Managers and will be responsible for implementing a diverse range of projects, ensuring delivery of all engineering work streams and cross-functional activities within key projects in the portfolio. Key Responsibilities include: Working collaboratively with the Engineering Project Managers, electrically designing and planning machinery installations. Preparing, scheduling and coordinating projects. Leading equipment installations and commissioning within an FMCG environment. Manages the delivery of operational projects in collaboration with the Engineering Project Mangers. Managing contractors and suppliers on site, following CDM regulations, ensuring all policies are adhered to. Contributing to the development of capital investment plans. Exploring exciting opportunities for best-in-class operations and manufacturing. Ensuring that legal and regulatory obligations for Taylors are met, working with relevant experts across the business. Building and maintaining external networks, keeping up to date with the latest technologies, standards and innovation. About You Working 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday, with flexible working, dependent upon the needs of the business, the successful candidate will have a minimum HNC qualification in electrical engineering and preferably be qualified to IET Wiring Regulations 18th Edition along with: A sound knowledge of machinery installations and commissioning, with strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience of using AutoCAD & SolidWorks is preferrable, as is the ability to work collaboratively with project teams, managing stakeholders and building and maintaining relationships.
