Our client, a reputable and established precision engineering business with over 50 years in the industry, is seeking a talented CNC Miller to join their dynamic team. Responsibilities: Programme, set and operate CNC Milling machines to produce high-precision components for a variety of industries. Program and adjust settings using Heidenhain controls. Ensure all components are produced within tight tolerances and to the highest quality standards. Perform routine maintenance checks and keep machines in optimal condition. Read and interpret engineering drawings, ensuring the correct specifications are met. Monitor the production process to ensure efficiency and quality. Follow health and safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment. Requirements: Proven experience programming, setting and operating CNC Milling machines. Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Heidenhain controls. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Experience in a precision engineering or manufacturing environment. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Benefits: Competitive salary up to £37,000 per annum. Hours 14:00-00:00 Monday to Thursday OR 07:30-16:45 Monday to Thursday / 07:30-12:30am Friday. Shift allowance for late shift Regular team social events 28 days annual leave inclusive of Bank Holidays. Permanent, full-time role with a well-established and respected company.
