Community, Participation & Volunteering Manager - Carmarthenshire Summary As the new NT Community, Participation & Volunteering Manager in the Carmarthenshire & Ceredigion region, you'll be at the heart of our mission to connect our sites with local and young people - leading inclusive, collaborative work that deepens connections between communities and partners, and the nature, beauty and history we care for. What it's like to work here This is a role for someone who loves enabling young people to thrive, and you'll champion putting their voice at the centre of everything we do. You'll be a crucial cog in the team working closely with team members to inspire collective care and participation. You'll play a key role in increasing access to both nature and heritage by understanding needs and motivations, working with the property teams to challenge barriers and enhance a culture where enabling access is embedded and championed. Your principal place of work will be Dinefwr, Llandeilo, though your role will also support Dolaucothi Goldmine and Llanerchaeron in the Carmarthenshire & Ceredigion region. What you'll be doing Embedding inclusive community and participation practices across the property, you'll lead change through coaching, collaboration and continuous improvement. Key to your role will be the maintenance and development of existing local stakeholder relationships as well as building relevant strategic partnerships and networks to deliver greater public benefit and profile. You'll support the existing volunteer offer as well as exploring new opportunities for wider engagement, specifically with young people. Your work will enhance their experience and understanding of our places whilst developing their confidence and connection to them.
