We're looking for a CDM Compliance Manager to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks team based in the East Anglia region on the Anglian Water Alliance.
Location: Flexible within Lincolnshire, Bedfordshire or Norfolk (based in any region or in-between)
Hours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us
In this role, you will be working as part of the Integrated Maintenance Repair & Developer Services (IMRDS) for Capital Delivery and reactive works. The work types include main laying schemes, district meter bypass installations, various size meter replacements, confined space work, planned reactive large diameter and complex burst mains, across the Anglian Water operational areas.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Compliance Manager, you'll be working within the compliance team, working closely with designers, engineers, managers, operatives and sub-contractors along with the Principal Designers to ensure compliance with Health & Safety under 2015 CDM regulations.
Your day to day will include:
* Review design submissions submitted by engineers and associated documentation (Environmental, Arborist reports, land entries, Design Risks etc) to ensure that sufficient information is available to produce CPPs or to be offered to sub-contractors to produce their own documentation.
* Provide feedback to engineers and discuss any shortfalls relative to information provided to capture any additional detail needed for accurate pre-construction information submissions.
* Attend Principal designers meetings and take an active role in the continued improvement in the design and construction process.
* Review projects through start to end audits and complete reports, identify any areas for improvement and implement changes where required.
* Develop documentation for schemes that require it.
What are we looking for?
This role of Compliance Manager is ideal if you hold:
* Experience in the construction/utility sector working at a managerial level.
* Demonstrable experience and understanding of design and construction management (CDM 2015 regulations).
* Hold First Aid at Work and SMSTS certifications.
* Hold EUSR install, inspect and remove timber, steel and proprietary support systems.
* NPORS Crane/Lift Supervisor, deep excavation/shuttering experience.
* Temporary works coordinator and formal CDM training and IOSH certification.
* Full driving licence.
