Job description The Team Leader provides comprehensive operational support and contributes to the strategic growth of the Real Estate sub-team. You will manage a defined group of Paralegals or Apprentices aligned to one of the Firms clients or practice groups.
Work Allocation & Operational Management
Allocate resources to client instructions and manage team capacity
Oversee efficient delivery and quality of work, including training and development
Maintain quality assurance processes
Scope and manage significant fee earning projects
Report on daily and weekly team operations
Line Management
Lead a team of Apprentices, Paralegals, and Senior Paralegals
Manage individual and team development plans
Coach, motivate, and provide regular feedback
Work with the Leadership Team on performance management and resourcing
Team Growth
Develop aligned groups and promote new business opportunities
Engage with fee earners and partners
Contribute to the development of the sub-team and wider TST
Analyse and improve ways of working
Required profile Applicants must have experience in Real Estate legal work or supervision/people management. Understanding of Land Registry and SDLT processes is desirable, with training provided as needed. Strong communication, team management, and multitasking skills are essential.
