Summary
ONLY DEPARTMENT EMPLOYEE ARE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY.
Performs general linen functions which may include stocking linen carts, delivery of clean linen and collection of soiled linen. Responsible for serving our customers, ancillary departments and visitors with high standards of linen distribution and processing. May perform as traditional cleaning duties on a rotational basis or as need arises.
Minimum Education
* High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum Work Experience
* Prior experience with linen processing preferred.
Required Skills, Knowledge, And Abilities
* Good phone skills
* Good communication skills (written & verbal)
* Ability to remain calm in stressful situations without evidence to patients and visitors.
* Demonstrated Moderate knowledge of basic computer skills.
* Ability to physically perform tasks as indicated by successful completion of functional testing. *
