Overview
SEN Class Teacher (Main Scale / UPS + SEN 1 Allowance) — Full or Part-Time.
When you think SEN School you may think SEN or SEMH provision for pupils aged 4–16. The school prioritises outcomes for the children supported and provides a welcoming and nurturing environment for staff, enabling holistic progress for pupils with EHCPs and Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. This setting works to a primary-style model across KS2 and KS3, supporting children with EHCPs and SEMH needs.
Responsibilities
* Working as part of a great team teaching small classes across KS2 & KS3.
* Planning lessons that differentiate for individual needs and learning capability.
* Prioritising wellbeing, social and emotional health in the classroom.
* Collaborating with the SLT to create a holistic learning environment where every child matters.
* Enabling progress, recognising, and rewarding progress even if it is just with a smile. It matters.
