Role Overview
Assist and support the Commercial Finance Director and North/Scotland Heads of Audit (LHoA) in managing the financial performance of the North and Scotland offices on strategic issues and day‑to‑day matters, and provide relevant support, advice and guidance to the overall team within the business unit on financial matters. (Role based in Manchester, monthly travel to Leeds & Edinburgh.)
Responsibilities
• Manage financial performance for the North and Scotland offices.
• Provide support, advice and guidance on financial matters.
• Identify and draw attention to opportunities for enhancing delivery and providing additional services.
Qualifications
* Commercial mind
* Analytical skills
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
* Ability to handle/process confidential information in a sensitive manner
* Project management, team leadership and delegation skills with a collaborative, participative approach
* Strong leadership and influencing skills to engage business leaders
* Strong operational skills and contribution to strategic agenda
* Partnership experience desirable
