Support Worker, Torfaen, £14.50-15.25 p/h We are seeking a kind, reliable, and motivated Support Worker to assist individuals with learning disabilities in their homes and out in the local community, promoting independence, dignity, and choice, and making a real difference in people’s lives. Key Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care and household tasks, using a person-centred approach to ensure their needs are met Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, helping to reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation Help clients maintain their independence and well-being by supporting them in community activities and appointments Safely assist clients with mobility using Moving & Handling techniques, ensuring their safety and dignity at all times Support individuals who may display challenging behaviour, responding calmly and effectively to ensure a safe and positive environment Support clients in achieving their goals and aspirations, promoting a sense of purpose and fulfilment Required Skills & Experience Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (preferable) 6 months UK experience in care or supporting individuals with learning disabilities Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic personality A team player who’s also confident working independently Reliable, flexible, and committed to providing high-quality care About the Company Completely Care is a specialist recruitment agency supporting the health & social care, education, and childcare sectors.
