Hyde is looking to recruit a Health & Safety Advisor.

As a Health & Safety Advisor you will assist the Health and Safety Manager in providing advice and support to the management team, enabling them to meet their statutory and regulatory health and safety duties in respect of property, employees, residents, and others.
You will ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements as well as with Hyde policies, procedures, and instructions in conjunction with the Health and Safety Manager, carrying out investigations, audits, and inspections.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Support the annual planning, implementation and delivery of the health and safety plan.
* Contribute to regular reviews of policies and procedures.
* Undertake assurance sample inspections and audits as required.
* Provide advice, guidance and training updates to relevant colleagues.
* Assist with planning and carrying out health and safety audits and inspections.
* Assist the business in promoting a positive health & safety environment.
* Support the risk assessment process, providing coaching, advice and guidance to line managers.
* Support the incident management process.
* Contribute to the annual training plan, development of courses and delivery of in-house training.
* Lead on the administration of the lone-worker devices and DSE Assessment system.
Skills and Experience Required
* Minimum 12 months experience in a Health & Safety Advisor role within a corporate setting.
* Previous experience of carrying out Health & Safety training.
* Experience of conducting DSE assessments
* Experience of conducting COSHH assessments
* NEBOSH general certificate
* IOSH Managing Safely certificate
