Facilitate regeneration and act as a single, integrated service area responsible for full operational and strategic facilities and estates management on the council’s non-housing properties. Provide strong line management and lead the development of the Council’s operational estates, facilities, maintenance, and minor works. Oversee a robust maintenance management system, ensuring both planned and reactive maintenance, operational compliance, and strategic delivery. Manage cleaning, security, and maintenance services, leading procurement processes, evaluating contractor performance, and ensuring value-for-money outcomes. Act as Contract Manager, responsible for contract governance, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring performance outcomes are met.
