We’re working with a well-established law firm seeking to appoint a Family Law Partner to take over a successful department currently generating £1m+ in annual revenue. This is a rare leadership opportunity to step into a Head of Department role with a smooth, well-supported handover from the retiring partner.
The Opportunity
This is an ideal opportunity for a current partner or senior solicitor with leadership experience, looking to shape and grow a high-performing family law team. You’ll lead a strong group of three lawyers and one paralegal, with a clear pathway to develop both team and department.
Key Features:
Leadership Transition: You’ll benefit from full handover support from the outgoing Family Partner, who remains as Consultant, to ensure a seamless transition. All client relationships and referral networks will be transferred with care and continuity. International Client Base: The team handles a significant volume of complex international family law matters, including financial settlements for expatriates in the Middle East (particularly Dubai). A solid stream of work and referrals is already in place. Established Success: This is not a turnaround brief—it’s a handover of a well-run, profitable team. The foundations are strong, the culture is collaborative, and the future potential is significant.
