Overview
We are looking for a skilled Test Analyst (SAP) to drive the planning, execution, and optimisation of testing activities across SAP solutions and integrations. This role will ensure systems are reliable, compliant, and fit for purpose, while empowering teams through strong collaboration, quality assurance practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare, and manage test activities, ensuring comprehensive coverage of functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
* Execute manual and automated test cases, logging results and defects using test management tools.
* Maintain and optimise the test case repository and automated test suites to improve efficiency and coverage.
* Perform end-to-end validation of SAP modules, integrations, REST/OData interfaces, middleware flows, and backend data verification.
* Ensure SAP solutions meet business, functional, performance, and security requirements in line with compliance standards.
* Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and product owners to clarify requirements and test outcomes.
* Facilitate UAT sessions, manage feedback, and oversee issue resolution ahead of go-live.
* Deliver clear test reports, dashboards, and insights on test progress, risks, and defect trends.
* Analyse post-release results to recommend process improvements and drive continuous quality enhancements.
* Stay current with emerging testing tools, technologies, and best practices to innovate within the QA function.
About You / Qualifications
* 3+ years of hands-on experience in software testing, ideally within SAP environments.
* Proficiency with test management tools such as qTest, Azure DevOps, JIRA, and Confluence.
* Experience in both manual and automated testing, using tools such as Selenium or equivalent.
* Strong knowledge of API testing (REST/OData) and SQL for backend data validation.
* Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
* Exposure to Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
* ISTQB Foundation Level or equivalent certification is ideal.
* Experience working with cross-functional teams including developers, architects, product owners, and business analysts.
