An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Consultant Radiologist with a specialist interest in Paediatric Imaging to join our friendly and forward‑thinking team at Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high‑quality imaging interpretation across ultrasound, CT and MRI.
* Vet and report specialist scans, offer second opinions and participate in MDTs.
* Work flexibly across sites while maintaining competence in general imaging.
* Participate in the on‑call rota and departmental functions such as education, audit and modality groups.
* Teach and supervise trainees from the Leeds‑Bradford Radiology Academy.
* Engage in research, audit and service evaluation to support evidence‑based practice.
* Adhere to Trust clinical governance, health and safety standards and the Quality Standard for Imaging.
* Contribute to cross‑specialty collaboration and departmental leadership roles.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Current GMC Licence to practise.
* Listed on the General Medical Council Specialist Register OR within six months of achieving CCT (for trainees in a UK training programme).
* Equivalent consultant‑level experience in chest and cardiac imaging will also be considered.
* Fluoroscopic and ultrasound skills essential.
