Pro-Group Recruitment is proud to be working with a leading, well-established electrical services provider, who are looking for a driven and hardworking Fire Alarm Supervisor to join their growing active fire team. The Role As Fire Alarm Supervisor, you’ll lead a team of skilled engineers delivering the fire alarm program, primarily within the social housing sector. You’ll oversee installations, maintenance, and inspections, ensuring all work meets industry standards (BS 7671, BS 5839). Key Responsibilities Team Leadership * Manage and mentor a team of engineers, driving high performance and accountability. * Support recruitment, onboarding, and development of staff. * Conduct site inspections, post-work reviews, and toolbox talks. Technical & Compliance * Interpret and review fire alarm drawings and specifications. * Maintain and commission Fire Alarm systems, including Closed Protocol Systems. * Ensure compliance with BS 7671 & BS 5839 standards. * Lead audits and uphold BAFE accreditation. Client & Project Management * Attend site meetings and liaise with clients. * Provide technical advice and resolve on-site queries. * Review and authorise certification paperwork. Administration & Continuous Improvement * Manage reporting and documentation via the Oneserve App. * Prepare quotes and variation orders, and coordinate materials with suppliers. * Support company initiatives for continuous improvement. What We’re Looking For * Minimum 5 years’ experience in the Fire Industry. * Strong technical knowledge with proven leadership experience. * Excellent communication and client management skills. * Organised, detail-oriented, and methodical approach. * Collaborative mindset with a passion for developing others.
