ECS Resource Group are currently working in partnership with a global managed service provider who's end client is in the Design & Engineering sector. We are assisting them with the search for a IT Support Engineer on a temp to perm basis. This is a hybrid based role with 3x days a week in the Reading office. Key Responsibilities: Deliver prompt and effective first-line and second-line support for IT-related issues. Troubleshoot and resolve software, hardware, and system problems proactively. Manage and coordinate the repair and maintenance of complex IT systems. Develop strong relationships with internal users to understand and meet their IT needs. Respond quickly to user concerns, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption. Support continuous improvement of IT services, including occasional travel to Bristol and Maidenhead. Key Skills: Strong technical knowledge in hardware, software, operating systems, and network infrastructure. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Effective written and verbal communication skills for user support and documentation. Ability to manage workloads under pressure and adapt to shifting priorities. Active Directory, Office 365 experience. Linux background (Ideal). Further job details available upon application.
