Overview
Responsible AI UK is a £31m programme funded by the UKRI’s Technology Mission Fund. It has established a nationally collaborative platform for the UK, working with leading research centres and institutions to shape AI development for people, communities and society.
You will, in partnership with Future Worlds, support the delivery of a national, cross-institution AI and Robotics (AiR) Accelerator and manage the administration of all key component programmes of Research, Advocacy, Engagement and Marketing. You will also take the lead role in all operational aspects of the Accelerator to ensure the delivery of its scientific and translational strategy, as well as develop and manage external relationships with academic, investor and industry partners. The post is based within the School of Electronics and Computer Science.

Responsibilities
* Provide high-level strategic support to senior managers, and manage operational, planning, and business-critical projects.
* Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication, personal agility, time management, and the ability to build credible relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
* Collaborate across teams, coordinate resources and logistical requirements, and manage a team to deliver an excellent service to all stakeholders.
* Review and refine administrative processes, delivering innovative solutions to problems where appropriate.
* Relevant experience of Higher Education structures is desirable.
Qualifications
* A proven track record of providing high-level strategic support to senior managers and managing operational projects.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to manage time effectively and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
* Experience in collaborative work, resource coordination, and team management for stakeholder service delivery.
* Ability to review and improve administrative processes; problem-solving with innovative solutions.
Employment type
* Part-time (0.5 FTE), fixed term until 31 October 2027.
