Job overview:
We're seeking proactive and experienced Product Owners to lead the development and ongoing evolution of our key software products.
As a Product Owner, you will play a vital role in ensuring our products are innovative, reliable and aligned with business objectives. You'll work closely with stakeholders across different areas, prioritising features, managing backlogs and delivering value through effective product management. If successful, you'll be aligned to a squad within our Distribution, Quote, Intermediary or Rating area where you'll play a crucial role in AXA's Pricing Transformation.
Key responsibilities:
* Define and communicate the product vision, strategy and roadmap aligned with business objectives.
* Lead system enhancements, integrations whilst supporting activities to improve capabilities.
* Manage and prioritise the product backlog based on business needs and customer feedback.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as engineering, data, pricing, underwriting and customer experience to ensure timely delivery.
* Support agile ceremonies and coordinate team activities to meet delivery goals.
* Set clear acceptance criteria, review deliverables and approve features that deliver tangible value.
* Ensure product releases are reliable, robust and meet quality standards.
* Drive continuous improvement in data quality, privacy, compliance and product resilience.
* Monitor product performance, usage metrics and stakeholder feedback to identify improvement opportunities.
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means attending the office, visiting clients or attending industry events.
Your skills & experience:
* Experience as a Product Owner in digital insurance, financial services, or complex data-driven environments.
* Expertise in quote management, distribution channels, pricing/rating processes and related data governance.
* Strong background in agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban) and tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, Confluence).
* Ability to translate business rules into technical specifications.
* Effective stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align technical and business teams.
* Knowledge of data privacy, compliance standards (GDPR, CCPA), and vendor contract management.
* A proactive mindset with a focus on delivering value, continuous improvement and operational excellence.
