Salary: GBP 24,930 per annum (pro‑rata GMT: GBP 15,160.14 per annum).
Vacancy Type: Part‑time 22.5 hours per week, temporary until December 2026.
About the role
The Learner Recruitment and Reception Officer provides professional customer service to learners, offering pre‑entry information, advice, and referral to specialists. The role involves assisting learners with enquiries in person, over the phone, or electronically, contributing to the group’s mission to deliver quality teaching and learning.
Responsibilities
* Ensure learners receive a positive experience when making course enquiries.
* Deliver high‑quality reception service, including providing a range of pre‑entry information and advice.
* Refer learners to specialists where appropriate.
* Assist the group in achieving its mission to provide skills for the future of students and community.
* Work Monday‑Wednesday 8:30am‑5:00pm, with flexibility to be discussed at interview.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a customer‑facing role, ideally within an education setting.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to manage a range of enquiries effectively under minimal supervision.
* Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy (equivalent to GCSE). Level 3 Information and Guidance, or a Level 2 Customer Service qualification, or willingness to work towards.
