We are looking to recruit a dynamic individual to lead our Rosewarne Stroke Rehabilitation Unit based at Camborne Redruth Community Hospital.
This is a 20-bedded inpatient ward in a purpose built stroke rehabilitation unit. You will be joining a very dynamic multi disciplinary team in delviering stroke specific goals for the community in Cornwall.
This job is currently only open to people who already work for the NHS in Cornwall or the Isles of Scilly.

To work with the multidisciplinary team including, therapy, patient flow lead, nurse consultant for stroke and the operational manager for flow across CFT in support of the Stroke Pathway across Cornwall and Isles of Scilly .
To provide managerial and clinical leadership to the nursing team and support staff.
To manage the daily running of the ward ensuring effective staff rostering and skill mix.
To lead and develop the nursing team.
To ensure the delivery of high-quality evidence-based patient care within the guidelines of Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust policies and procedures.
To promote effective communication with all members of the multi-disciplinary and inter-agency team including medical staff, patients and carers.
To ensure effective management of ward resources including ward budget.
To support and deputise for the Clinical Matron.
To work flexibly with peers and managers in the Locality, prioritising resources as required.
20 bedded Rehabilitation Ward.

Partnership working with local Integrated Neighbourhood Team Commissioners and Community.
