As a Medical Secretary, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional support to patients, ensuring a smooth and efficient clinic operation. If you have a passion for delivering excellent patient service and possess strong administrative and customer service skills, this is a fantastic opportunity to expand your responsibilities and contribute to a dynamic and thriving team.\n\nWhy work for this company?\n\nGreat exposure to a varied role, allowing you to grow and develop your experience and skills!\n25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays.\nPrivate pension and private health cover.\nAccess to healthcare appointments.\nSocial events to foster team friendship. \n\nDuties:\n\nManage all aspects of medical secretarial duties including letters, results, and procedures.\nLiaise with patients, consultants, and other clinic users, providing exceptional customer support.\nAssist patients in navigating the clinic and ensure a satisfactory visit.\nHandle telephone and email inquiries from patients, hospitals, and other healthcare practises.\nPerform additional administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and posting letters.\nProvide effective clinic management support, including booking appointments, creating letters, and coordinating procedures.\nCollaborate with consultants to ensure timely delivery of test results and handle correspondence requiring attention.
\n\nRequirements: \n\nPrevious experience in a similar role within a medical environment.\nProficiency in MS Office Suite, with experience in Practise management software (Semble) considered a plus.\nPositive attitude and exceptional administrative and customer service skills.\nHigh attention to detail and a caring, sympathetic approach towards patients.\nAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.\nFlexibility and a willingness to contribute beyond the core responsibilities of the role.\nExcellent telephone manner. \n\nIf you are passionate about providing excellent patient care and have the necessary skills and experience, our client would love to hear from you.
