We are seeking to appoint an Activity Manager who will be responsible for the planning, implementing and day to day running of a varied and inspiring co-curricular programme. This programme will include sports, activities, evening social events and excursions whilst ensuring the safety and wellbeing of students is managed at all times. The Activity Manager will also be responsible for organising, managing and motivating a team of Senior Activity Leaders and Activity Leaders. The Activity Manager will report directly to the Course Director and form part of the Senior Leadership Team at the Summer School. Applicants will have a degree and previous management experience of running an Activity programme for children in a young learner, summer school or residential context, and have experience of planning and leading excursions. Teaching, Sports and coaching qualifications (or equivalent) and/or experience in Music, Performing and Creative Arts or outdoor education would be welcomed. The ability to motivate, lead, supervise and engage with staff and young learners is essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required, as is the ability to work calmly, effectively and positively, even whilst under pressure.
