Social Work Team Manager – Duty & Assessment
Join Us as a Social Work Team Manager in Duty & Assessment in Barnet and Earn £45.20 Hourly for an Ongoing Assignment. This full-time position requires 36 hours per week, with a flexible hybrid schedule involving approximately two days in the office and every fourth week as a duty week. If you are an experienced social work professional with at least three years of experience at the Team Manager level, especially within an assessment team, this opportunity is designed for you. What you will do:
* Manage and lead the Duty & Assessment team to deliver high-quality services for children and families.
* Oversee case management and ensure timely responses to assessments and care planning.
* Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
* Liaise with multiple agencies and partners to develop and implement effective intervention and care strategies.
* Monitor and evaluate service delivery, ensuring compliance with statutory guidelines and best practice.
Requirements of the Team Manager:
* A degree or equivalent qualification in social work.
* Current registration with Social Work England.
* A strong background in Children’s Services with significant frontline experience as a Team Manager.
* Managerial competence with experience in roles such as TM, DTM, or ATM.
