Head Greenkeeper- Heaton Park Golf Course, Manchester
Closing Date - 10th April 2026
A stunning setting, a loyal following and an employer that backs you to deliver.
Heaton Park is an 18-hole parkland course set inside one of Manchester's best-loved parks. Designed by J.H. Taylor, it spans 5,744 yards with views across Manchester city centre, the Pennines and the surrounding countryside. There's also an 18-hole Pitch and Putt, junior and women's coaching sessions, and a growing community of golfers who keep coming back. It's a busy venue with real character and plenty of potential.
Link Golf UK, who manage the course, are looking for a Head Greenkeeper who wants to put their stamp on it.
Link Golf UK is a professional management group, not a members' committee. The successful candidate will report to people who understand golf operations because they've worked in them.
When a case is made for investment, it gets heard. When results are delivered, they get noticed.
Why Link Golf UK?
Link Golf UK is a forward-thinking, people-first organisation built by golf industry professionals. No committees, no politics, no late-night committee meetings. Just professional management, clear communication and a genuine focus on doing things properly.
They believe in fairness, respect and giving people room to grow. Every team member is valued, supported and encouraged to develop. They promote a healthy work-life balance and reward people who make a difference.
Link Golf UK is expanding nationally. Strong performers move up. This isn't a dead-end role.

* Setting standards, managing rotas and developing staff

* Experience managing or supervising a greenkeeping team and budget

On a personal level, Link Golf UK want someone who leads from the front. Someone who takes pride in the course, sets the standard through their own work, and brings the team with them. Candidates will need to be hands-on, organised and clear communicators. Flexibility for early starts, weekends and extended hours during peak season is part of the deal.
