Were looking for an experienced Training and Development Manager to join our team, where you will play a key role in supporting and inspiring our staff to grow their skills and confidence from their very first day and throughout their careers. Responsibilities The organisation, development, and delivery of the organisations training courses and programmes, including mandatory training, physical intervention, and specialist courses to meet the needs of the Service Users. Ensuring that the training centre is compliant with the organisations and awarding bodies policies and procedures. The administration and management of registers, certificates, exam papers, and training plans. The evaluation of training delivered to ensure that it is appropriate and meets the requirements of the delegates, the company, CQC and the awarding bodies (where appropriate). Working alongside team members on a regular basis to evaluate that the training delivered is being put into practice upon their return to the home/service and delivering on the job training as required. Supporting the induction process and Care Certificate completion for new starters. To be available on a consultancy basis outside rostered hours. Monitoring and developing reports as designated. Hours: 42-hour week (flexibility available for the right candidate). About you Youll bring energy, confidence, and a commitment to high-quality care training. You should have: Experience working in the social care sector supporting vulnerable adults with learning disabilities and/or mental health conditions. At least 2 years experience delivering training (including mandatory training). Strong presentation and leadership skills, with the ability to engage learners at all levels. Up-to-date knowledge of learning and development methods and best practice, with significant experience of face-to-face training delivery. Up-to-date knowledge of legislation relating to the social care sector including the fundamental standards. A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between our services. Experience and understanding of the use of physical restraint. Experience delivering training in First Aid, Food Safety and Health and Safety. Proficiency with IT packages for managing training and communication, such as Microsoft Office. Essential Qualifications Lead Adult Care Worker or Leader in Adult Care Apprenticeship or equivalent qualification mapped against these standards. Level 3 Award in Education and Training or an equivalent teaching qualification. Level 3 Award in Food Safety. Level 3 Award in Health and Safety or equivalent i.e. I.O.S.H.H. Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work.
