Onsite Account Manager
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Account Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing client relationships, driving sales growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role requires strong communication skills, leadership capabilities, and the ability to analyse market trends to effectively meet client needs.
Duties
* Act as the main point of contact for all recruitment activities on-site, ensuring staffing levels meet daily and seasonal production requirements.
* Build strong relationships with hiring managers, team leaders, and production supervisors to understand labour needs and forecast future requirements.
* Coordinate and conduct interviews, assessments, site tours, and inductions for new starters.
* Monitor attendance, attrition, and performance of temporary staff and address any issues promptly.
* Maintain accurate recruitment and workforce data, including daily headcounts, candidate pipelines, and compliance documentation.
* Ensure all recruitment processes adhere to legal requirements, food safety standards, and company policies.
* Support new employees during their onboarding and initial training period, acting as a point of contact for queries and pastoral care.
* Regularly report to site and senior management on recruitment KPIs, challenges, and successes.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality and efficiency of the recruitment process.
Skills
* Previous experience in a recruitment or account management role, ideally within a high-volume, fast-paced production or manufacturing environment.
* Strong understanding of workforce planning and labour supply challenges in the food production sector.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills at all levels.
* Ability to work independently on-site, solve problems proactively, and adapt to changing priorities.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Good working knowledge of MS Office and experience with recruitment management systems or applicant tracking systems (ATS).
* Knowledge of right to work checks, health and safety, and food production compliance requirements is highly desirable.
