Responsibilities
1. Design and own architecture across all layers of the technology stack.
2. Write production-grade code and deliver enterprise-ready solutions at pace.
3. Engineer scalable, modular platforms capable of deployment across multiple operating companies.
4. Collaborate closely with product, data engineering, data science, analytics, and frontend teams to deliver cohesive solutions across technologies.
5. Implement best practices for scalability, performance, resilience, and security in cloud environments (AWS preferred).
6. Support integration of AI solutions into operational workflows.
7. Define technical standards and frameworks to enable multi-OpCo deployment and interoperability.
8. Translate business and operational requirements into robust, scalable AI and data solutions.
Required Skills & Experience
9. 10+ years' experience in enterprise software engineering, ideally within AI or data-driven environments.
10. Broad, hands-on expertise across programming languages, tools, and modern engineering stacks.
11. Strong experience designing and building cloud-based systems (AWS preferred).
12. Deep knowledge of API design and integration.
13. Proven track record delivering high-value platforms within large, complex enterprise organisations.
14. Demonstrated experience taking data and AI solutions from design through to production at enterprise scale.
15. Ability to work on-site in London initially, with flexibility for international travel during later deployment phases.
Desirable Experience
16. Background in aviation, logistics, or operational data domains.
17. Consulting or advisory experience on complex engineering programmes.
18. Demonstrated ability to define standards and reusable frameworks across multiple business units.
