The Role
Wrightbus is currently hiring Assembly Operatives to support the production of zero-emission buses at its Ballymena facility. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in using hand tools and working within a manufacturing or industrial environment .
Successful candidates will be responsible for assembling vehicle components, ensuring quality standards are met, and contributing to the continuous improvement of production processes .
Key Responsibilities
* Assemble and fabricate vehicle parts in line with technical drawings and specifications.
* Work with a variety of materials, including metal, wood, laminate, and fibreglass.
* Use hand tools, power tools, and air tools safely and effectively.
* Maintain high-quality workmanship while meeting production deadlines.
* Follow health and safety regulations and ensure compliance with company policies.
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
* Operate plant equipment and machinery as required.
* Be willing to work overtime when requested by management.
* Undertake training and development to stay up to date with new techniques and practices.
* Experience using a variety of hand, power, and air tools .
* At least 3 months' experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
